The Lake
Barbret lake is set in 5 acres of private land, the whole area is surrounded by trees and verdant foliage. The lake is spring fed, by 3 springs, maintaining a constant level, an excellent water quality and perfect all year round temperature.
The lake is a pure bred specimen lake and holds high bred, large powerful fish. It was stocked in 2018 and 2019 with nearly 600lb of Mirrors and Commons, approx. 100lb of Grass Carp and 3 Catfish, all adding to the existing stock of fish
The depth of the lake varies between 1.8 metres to 3 metres with shallows around the margins providing shelves where the carp like to cruise.
With a comfortable and cosy 4 berth cabin on the lakeside and a large BBQ area and swimming pool it is perfect for a family holiday or a carp enthusiasts getaway.
Barbret Lake are pleased to announce that it will be opening its second lake, Deep Bluu, in 2020. The lake will be stocked with Carp upto 50lb and Catfish. Two anglers will have exclusive use of Deep Bluu either Drive and Survive or accommodation can be provided. The depth of the lake is 4.8 metres and has 2 large swims, toileting facilities and eating area, there is a shower just a short walk from the lake.
Only baits supplied on site are to be used due to the high quality of our baits which keep our fish in immaculate condition and ensure their weight gain. All bait sold on site is competitively priced.
The cost of drive and survive is 400.00 per angler
With accommodation, either the Glamping tent or the caravan, both of which sleep 2, 950.00 per week
