Peninsula Pool
8 acres of 12 feet deep water that is well stocked with Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Bream and Barbel of a manageable catch size.
Peninsula Pool accomodates 65 pegs on each side which is considered ideal for small club matches.
Carp range from over 22lbs. Tench of 4lbs have been caught as well as Roach and Rudd of 3lbs 8oz and fast growing Barbel of 14lbs 8oz.
Blake Pool
4 acres of water that has space for 41 well defined pegs and is suitable for all types of fishing from the pole to feeder methods.
‘Step-in’ depth from close-in shallows to a maximum of 7 feet and the pool holds a tremendous head of carp, tench, roach, skimmer bream, chub, barbel and perch.
A favoured club water, blake pool provides the chance to tangle with carp over 28lbs and barbel over 7lbs.
Hall Pool
3.5 acres in size, Hall Pool has a total of 30 pegs and is slightly deeper than Blake, between 6 and 7 feet except in the margins where the banks shelve deeply to the bottom.
Carefully managed to control overcrowding, Hall pool is stocked with fast growing carp over 20lbs, being allowed space in which to produce a specimen anglers dream.
The 6 feet deep lake provide opportunities to catch quality fish including Tench to 5lb, Roach up to 2lb and the occasional Bream.
Capricious Pool
The Capricious Pool at Blakehall has been so named because, judging from the reports of anglers who have already fished it, it is totally unpredictable!
Developed as an out-and-out match water, with 36 well-spaced pegs some 10 to 15 metres apart, Capricious Pool is predominantly a Carp water and is subject to an ongoing stocking of additional Carp at between 5lbs and 18lbs as well as Rudd, Chub and Bream.
Cabin Pool
Cabin Pool is the smallest of Blakehall Fishery’s waters. Located immediately next to the Clubhouse, 0.5 acre in size with just 10 pegs. Carp range from 2 to 12 lbs, Bream, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Perch are regularly caught.
