Lowestoffe Country Lodge provides secluded accommodation in four cosy, comfortable dwellings located on separate farms. Each house is tastefully decorated with a fireplace in the living area; essential on chilly evenings and overcast days.
Situated on four adjoining farms – Lowestoffe, Rooken, Rockford Park and Woodhouselea – guests have access to 5500 hectares of unspoiled farmlands. Explore the expansive grasslands, rocky ridges, mountain terrain and gently meandering river.
The vast open spaces and diverse landscape lends itself to outdoor activities, and we specialise in horse trail rides, mountain biking, hiking, birding and fly fishing. The picturesque Klipplaat River criss-crosses the farm for 18 km, with numerous scenic spots to enjoy a picnic or deep pools in which to cast a line for Yellowfish.
