The fishery is in the top 100 small water fisheries in the country. We have a purpose built lodge to accommodate fly fishing customers and any guests, with toilet facilities for ladies, gents and the disabled. COMPLIMENTARY TEA AND COFFEE.
The lodge has a wheelie boat for disabled anglers to enjoy being out on the water. A few rowing boats are available and float tubers are most welcome.
The lake has an abundance of natural fly life with a good stock of “hard fighting” rainbow trout from 2lb up to 12 lb which respond well to dry flies. There is also a population of brown trout. Situated equidistant between Feltwell and Hockwold-cum-Wilton - both villages boast a couple of pubs, restaurants and convenience stores.
