Carney Pools

Carney Pools

Carney Pools is a picturesque 12 acre site on the edge of Cannock Chase, located between Rugeley and Stafford and managed by Edward Carney and his partner Hollie. There are two coarse fishing pools known as Damsel and Dragon Pool, both available for day tickets and match anglers. We have facilities for disabled anglers and welcome visitors of all ages and abilities.

The site also features a quiet, secluded CL Site offering five hard standings and electric hook-ups. Toilet and shower facilities are available.
For touring caravans and camping a level seven-acre field, offers views to Cannock Chase and well established hedges with fourteen electric hook ups. This area is open to all, so you do not have to be a member of any caravan or camping club to use it.

Dogs are welcome. You can exercise your dog in the designated dog walk area. No dogs are allowed around the fishing pools at any time, but can be walked around the wildlife pools. Unfortunately this area has had to close until further notice because the foot bridge is in need of repair. We hope to have this re-opened for the new season. You can exercise your dog in the caravan field area so long as your dog is on a lead. Please remember that all fouling must be collected by the owner and placed in the designated bin.
