We consider ourselves specialists at Lowfields Retreat in offering fishing within the holiday park environment. Many other parks often promote fishing as in an added attraction but is not always given the attention it needs. For us, fishing is the key ingredient at Lowfields Retreat.
We have no reserved swims or day ticket anglers taking up all the best swims at first light and we ensure the natural environment is maintained, over-commerciality is avoided and most important of all, our customers benefit from EXCLUSIVITY.
We have 8 Lakes in total varying from approximately 0.25 acres to 1.5acres and from 3ft to 6ft in depth. Two of our lakes, Lodge and Willow, are over 300 years old and provide a picturesque feature of the park with plenty of swims. All our lakes have been designed and are maintained with the pleasure angler in mind, and are all well-stocked. The margins of the waters are well planted with rush, flag iris and reed.

Lodge Lake contains Carp (Ghost, Mirror, Common, Ornamental to 18lb), Crucian Carp, Large Bream, Skimmers, Roach, Perch and Tench
Approximate area – 1 Acre Approximate depth – 4ft (deeper areas on Reception side)
Willow Lake is stocked with Carp (Mirror & Common to 23lb), Crucian Carp, Bream, Roach, Perch and Tench
Approximate area – 1.5 Acres Approximate depth – 4ft
Grange Lake has Carp (4-5lb), Bream, Skimmers, Tench, Roach and Perch
Approximate Area – 0.5 Acres Approximate depth – 3-4ft
Silver Fish Lake has an abundance of Bream, Tench, Skimmers, Perch, Roach, Rudd and Golden Rudd
Approximate Area – 0.33 Acres Approximate depth – 5ft
Eagle Lake offers a range of Carp (Ghost, Mirror, Common, Ornamental – into double figures), Bream, Skimmers, Roach, Tench and Perch

Stock Pond will keep you busy with Bream, Skimmers, Carp (4-5lb), Roach and Perch
