Parkway Cottage Resort and Trading Post is located on the shores of the Historic and World famous Oxtongue Lake, on Highway 60 just 6 minutes from the west gate of Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario. The last Trading Post/Store before Algonquin Park's west gate on site
Experience the peacefulness and tranquillity of the Algonquin Park region, take a hike into Algonquin Park, a photography and wildlife paradise. World-class Painters, such as the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson used the Oxtongue Area as a backdrop for their canvases. The area is also known for world-class bird watching, see moose, deer, bear, beavers, and other local animals.
Our resort has 8 self-catering, pet-free cottages, spread over 7 acres among birch- and maple trees, with views of the lake and grounds.

We have our own private sandy beach, in a bay on Oxtongue lake ideal for relaxing.
Explore the lake right from our beach, enjoy the water and diving dock, swim to the island, lay on the beach, and catch some sun or maybe a bass or trout. Play a game of "Bag Toss", Volleyball, Basketball or have some fun on our "Water Jumper & Water Mattress" in the lake. We recently also added a playpark for the kids to enjoy.
Use of canoes, kayaks & paddleboards, pedal boats, and safety gear is FREE to use for all our Guests
Our resort is the perfect location for a memorable family vacation with lots to explore in and around our area and in Algonquin Park.
For lazy or rainy days, we have a rec room with all sorts of games, puzzles, books, a Ping-Pong table, Darts, a Football Table, TV, DVD/CD player.
****Don't forget to pick up your "Half Price" "Algonquin Park Day Permit" from us when heading out on a trail. (Minimum 2-night stay)
