Our strategic location within Katmai National Park and Preserve allows us quick access to some of the best rainbow trout fishing in the world. While at Royal Wolf, the main lodge welcomes you to a comfortably modern space decorated with Alaskan artifacts, photographs and paintings. The wrap around deck offers an unfiltered, spectacular view. The large picture windows overlook the lakes, ponds and rolling hills of blooming tundra, wildflowers, and black spruce trees surrounding Royal Wolf, including the wildlife that inhabits it.
Lodging at Royal Wolf, you’ll find all the amenities and creature comforts you crave after a productive day of fishing. Each cabin is strategically placed with a view of the surrounding wilderness and a bit of privacy. All cabins have heat, running water (including hot water), a full bathroom with shower, and two beds. You’ll find shampoo/conditioner/body soap in each shower, and hair dryers available upon request.
Our Spa and Sauna will bring your stay up to a new level of relaxation. The Finnish, wood stove sauna and availability of our in house Massage Therapist, are often the highlight after a long day/week of fishing. Massage is offered at an additional cost.
