Willesley has been the heart of local carp fishing since the late 70's, Attracting both local lads and those from further afield.
Throughout the 80's, 90's and 2000's the lake has seen many keen anglers come and go, often claiming a special place in their hearts in the process.
Around 24 acres in size and famed for its leney looking commons and cracking mirrors too!
The lake has changed ownership over the years firstly ran by Derbyshire & North West Leicestershire A.S then onto The Hart. In 2010 the lake progressed as a mixed fishery until things turned a little sour.
Fast forward to April 2024 and Scott Rodgers and Richard Cox aquired the lease with the aim of developing it into a superb carp fishing syndicate.
Willesley is a stunning looking lake steeped in history & memories for many and we have always believed it has the potential to be one of the best waters in the midlands! Now we are going to prove it!
