TRY TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAM
One of my recurring dreams is to fight a pike over 140 cm and win this challenge ... And yours not ???? I have made pike my job and my eternal obsession and I accompany many clients to fulfill their dream in northern Europe and in my native country, Italy. The question I hear very frequently is "Where can I try to catch a huge specimen of pike ???" There is no more difficult answer to this question ... I can certainly say from direct experience that one thing makes a considerable difference and selects the size of the catch:
THE GREATNESS OF THE BAIT
It happens very often to talk and fish with many enthusiasts who come in search of the great specimen have doubts about the excessive size of the artificial ... Nothing further from reality Let us all remember that a pike of just 50cm eats with extreme voracity if in the window of activity baits greater than 20cm without worrying too much ...
I am very convinced, on the other hand, that to find large specimens you need to use extremely slow moving baits ... If you think about it it is also easily deducible ... A big fish does not have that sparkle of a fish of 80 cm and will certainly be very old and maybe fat ... It is like all living beings on this planet who are elderly and overweight are INCREDIBLY LENSES This is why I prefer lures with extremely floating and wobbling movements to undermine big pike in the trips that I organize in the Baltic and in Italy.
