Flyfishing in Slovenia is a great adventure, due to our beautiful rivers and small streams.
Most of our rivers are Alpine style, fast flowing rivers But we have also some chalk streams. Most of the rivers are crystal gin clear and clean, some rivers are also drinkable.
In Slovenia we are happy also With trout species inhibating our rivers.
Fish species in rivers are Brown trout, rainbow trout, grayling, marble trout, danube salmon (hucho hucho).
Flyfishing season for trouts is from 1st of March till 30.November.
